Nick Shipp Architects were instructed to provide full architectural services regarding an extension and refurbishment of an existing 4 storey Victorian dwelling in Fulham, London.

The proposal was to convert the previously inhabitable basement into a new media room, a large storage cupboard and small utility room.

A remodelled internal environment was provided and that includes: creating a more open plan living, kitchen/dining arrangement with improved connections to the existing enclosed garden at ground level and a new enlarged master bedroom and bathroom suite at first floor level.

The second floor level was extended with the creation of a new mansard to produce a new ‘en-suite’ bedroom.
